Notre ferme est sitée dans la magnifique région de la Forêt-Noire, près de Baden-Baden et à seulement 30km de la frontière francaise. Sur un domaine de 5 hectares, nous avons quatre chevaux, des chats, des chèvres, des moutons et des lapins. Nous accueillons avec plaisir des bénévoles enjoués et manuels.
Possibilité de séjour longue durée.

À PROPOS DE NOUS
Uwe est un artisan compétent avec beaucoup d'expérience dans le domaine de la construction écologique. Pendant plusieurs années, il a travaillé en tant que chef de construction. Il est aussi formateur Dragon Dreaming, professeur de yoga.
Quant à moi, Frauke, je suis assistante sociale, psychothérapeute (Gestalt thérapie) et je travaille dans le domaine de la zoothérapie.
Nous sommes tous deux orientés vers un mode de vie sain et durable et nous aimons tous les deux travailler avec les enfantset adolescents.
NOTRE PHILOSOPHIE
Nous sommes une ONG et travaillons avec des personnes souffrant de traumatismes. Si vous nous rendez visite, sachez que nous avons une démarche thérapeutique et utilisons la communication et le comportement non-violents. C'est pourquoi au sein de notre ferme, nous nous efforcons de créer cet "espace protégé" dans lequel nous maintenons une atmosphère de respect mutuel et de coopération . que ca soit avec nos patients et nos animaux. Cela implique quelques règles qui nous tiennent énormément à coeur (par exemple : ne pas nourrir les animaux à la main, être conscient et respecteux envers les animaux notamment en prêtant attention s'ils souhaitent votre présence et s'ils veulent être caressés). Au début, cela pourra vous paraître quelque peu strict mais nous voyons cela plus comme une opportunité pour vous de découvrir une nouvelle facon d'être et de vivre ensemble, avec les humains et les animaux.
TÂCHES
- Différents projects de construction (classe verte pour les enfants, yourte, isolation, construction à l'argile), soins aux animaux, jardinage, cuisine, etc.
- Nous sommes actifs dans le domaine de la zoothérapie. Si vous êtes intéressés, vous pourrez aussi en apprendre plus sur les relations avec les animaux et les chevaux (pas d'équitation possible).
- Nous souhaiterions mettre au point des projets de permaculture dans notre ferme. Nous serions donc plus qu'heureux si vous souhaitez partager votre expérience dans ce domaine avec nous.

Nous aimons être au contact de différentes cultures, nationalités et mentalités au travers des bénévoles. Vous serez considéré.e comme un membre de la famille et c'est pourquoi prendre part aux tâches quotidiennes comme les repas, la cuisine, le ménage, etc. sont des moyens parmi tant d'autres de faire partie de cette famille.
PROFIL REQUIS
Les bénévoles qui souhaitent nous rendre visite devraient être manuels et bien sûr tout.e artisan.e ou bricoleur.euse compétent.e est le/la bienvenu.e !

Our farm is located in the beautiful black forest close to Baden Baden/Freiburg/Karlsruhe. On 5 ha we have 4 horses, cats, goats, sheep, and rabbits. We're looking for cheerful persons with skilled hands. A long stay is possible.
ABOUT US
Uwe is a competent craftsman and has a lot of experiences with ecological building projects. He worked several years as a construction manager. He is a dragon dreaming trainer and yoga teacher as well and we both are very interested in a healthy life style and sustainable living.
I (Frauke) am a social worker, psychotherapist (Gestalttherapie) and working in the field of animal assisted therapy.
We both love to work with children and teens.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
We are a non government organisation and work as well with traumatised people. Be aware when visiting us that we work therapeutically and have a special way of non-violent communication and behaviour. Therefore we have been creating on our farm a "safe space" where we maintain an atmosphere of mutual respect and partnership - both with our clients and our animals.
This includes a few rules at the farm which we take very seriously (for example not to feed the animals out of your hand, going very aware to an animal with noticing in advance if the animal really wants you close and to be touched). In the beginning they may appear to you a bit strict. We view them more as an opportunity for you to experience a totally new way of being and living together- both with humans and with animals.
TASKS
Different construction and building projects (green classroom for children, yurt, insulating, claybuilding), animal care, gardening, cooking,... We are active in animal assisted therapy. When you are interested you could learn something about the regardful contact with animals/ horses (no riding).
We would love to install permaculture projects on the farm so we are more than happy if you want to share your knowledge in that topic with us.
WHY A HELPER?
We like to have contact to different cultures, nationalities, and mentalities through volunteers. You will be treated as part of the family, so helping in the house with meals, cooking, washing up etc. is part of being with us.
NECESSARY PROFILE
Our helpers should have skilled hands and of course we would be happy with a talented handy-/crafts(wo)man! And you should like animals ;)
